The original name in Italian is Piattaforma elevatrice “Scaffolding”.
The platform will be used to carry out manual tasks around large transformers, which is used in the construction process of large transformers.
It is a lifting platform for people that allows you to work at different heights (from a minimum of 1 meter to a maximum of 3.5 meters above the floor) admitting a maximum load of 1000 kg.
Two platforms, positioned on opposite sides of the transformer, can be connected to each other by means of extendable gangways.
Base Platform: It consists of a painted steel structure on which the following are fixed:
Lifting columns,
Travel wheels,
Stabilizers.
On the base structure, the sliding surface of the variable stair is made.
Lifting columns: They are structures made of steel and are bolted to the base floor. They allow the sliding of the slides on which the upper floor is fixed.
Sleds: These are the structures that support the upper floor. They slide inside the columns by means of bidirectional wheels. They are driven by the lifting system.
Elevating platform: It consists of a high-strength steel structure. It is the movable element of the MEWP, The minimum height of the decking from the ground is 1000mm, The maximum height of the decking from the ground is 3500mm, The platform will be operated by hydraulic or electric.
